Drawing Contest for 4th and 5th Graders
The Lake St. Clair Water Festival is once again offering a drawing contest open to 4th and 5th graders to promote clean water.
RULES:
RULES:
- Participants must be in 4th or 5th grade and reside in Macomb County.
- The theme is “Kids Keeping our Water Clean!”.
- Entries must be postmarked by March 26, 2021. (Final Date)
- The drawing can be done in colored pencils, markers, or crayons. Have the students spend time on the drawing. The clearer, more colorful and concise the drawing, the better the chance it will be selected.
- Entries can be portrait or landscape but must be 8 1/2" by 11" in size.
- One artwork submission per student (no more than two students per drawing) and must include the following: Name, School, Teacher, Grade, School District, Teacher email, School Phone Number, AND Description of Drawing. (Please note that you must include teacher’s email and school phone number for winners to be notified.)
- Mail your entries postmarked by March 26, 2021 to: Macomb Public Works - Claudette Wizniuk at 21777 Dunham Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48036
- Once submitted, the materials become the property of the Lake St. Clair Water Festival and will not be returned.
- Select prizes will be awarded to contest winners as well as a poster and/or magnet created from the winning drawings.
